GitHub & Repositories

GitHub is an online platform used to host, share and collaborate on software development projects, based on the Git version control system .

It allows programmers, teams and companies to:

  • manage source code in a secure and traceable way,
  • collaborate on changes and updates,
  • keep track of each version and contribution,
  • publish technical documentation and official releases.

It is a key tool in theopen-source ecosystem and is often used to make the code of technology projects public and auditable, providing transparency, auditability and global collaboration.

📂 What is a GitHub Repository?

A GitHub repository is a digital space where the source code of a software project, along with all its documentation, configurations and change history, is stored and managed.

It is based on Git, a distributed version control system, and allows developers, teams and companies to:

  • securelysave and share code,
  • keep track of every change made over time,
  • collaborate in real time from anywhere in the world,
  • create versions, releases and updates of software in a structured way.

Repositories can be public, for open-source projects accessible to all, or private, accessible only to authorized users.

GitHub has become the global standard for collaboration in the world of software development.

Open-Source Architecture

Approximately 84% of the source code developed by HashBurst for the entire ecosystem is publicly available on the official GitHub repositories , demonstrating the transparent and collaborative approach taken by the technical team from the early stages of the project.

This portion includes core modules such as:

  • network management,
  • communication protocols,
  • tools for integration with external systems,
  • interfaces for issuing and monitoring tokens.

The remaining 15 percent of the code, on the other hand, constitutes the Core System, or the computational and cryptographic heart of the architecture, developed independently and kept in a confidential environment for reasons of security, operational integrity and intellectual property protection.

Through this structure, it is possible to ensure:

  • maximum transparency on the operation of the infrastructure,
  • verifiability by third parties,
  • and at the same time solid protection of the proprietary logics that make the system unique on a technical and strategic level.
This combination of openness and protection provides a model for all projects that aspire to combine public trust, operational efficiency and technological leadership.

🧠 What is GitHub and how it is used by Hashburst

Engineer Francesco Eucherio, HashBurst technical contributor, clearly explains how GitHub, a global platform for collaborative development, designed to manage, store and share source code, works.

Within GitHub is a public repository called HashBurst, created by the Development Team, which collects project-related technical material. In this space, codes and libraries are shared freely, allowing developers from around the world to contribute transparently. Each contribution is tracked over time, offering a clear view of the evolution of the project.

Francesco Eucherio points out that modern software development never starts from scratch, but relies on the use of established libraries, such as Keras for artificial intelligence. These libraries represent shared, accessible and reusable resources to accelerate development and ensure quality.

The HashBurst repository contains artificial intelligence algorithms designed to optimize cryptomining operations. AI is used to improve the efficiency of transactions within mining pools, with an extremely low margin of error.
